Welcome to TCGSnap. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Overview

TCGSnap is an AI-powered card recognition tool designed to help users identify and analyze trading cards. The Service is intended for personal and informational use. While premium features may be available for purchase, TCGSnap does not distribute or sell third-party intellectual property. Card-related content is used strictly for identification, commentary, and educational purposes.

2. Intellectual Property

  • All card artwork, names, trademarks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners, including Konami, Wizards of the Coast, and The Pokémon Company.
  • TCGSnap is not affiliated with or endorsed by any trading card publisher or franchise.
  • Any use of third-party content within the app is protected under fair use for commentary and research.

3. User-Generated Content

Users may upload images for AI recognition. You affirm that you own or have the right to use any content you submit. All uploaded images are processed in real time and permanently deleted afterward.

4. Copyright & DMCA Policy

If you believe that your intellectual property is being used inappropriately within the Service, please contact us at [email protected]. Include the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work
  • Details of the allegedly infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A signed statement asserting ownership and lack of authorization

We will respond in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

5. Purchases and Subscriptions

The app offers optional subscriptions and one-time purchases. All payments are processed securely via Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not handle or store any billing information directly. Refunds follow the platform’s refund policy.

6. Acceptable Use

  • You must not use the Service to post illegal, abusive, or infringing content.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the Service.
  • Misuse of the app may result in termination of access.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

TCGSnap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of card values or recognition results. All information is for reference only and may vary based on market conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TCGSnap is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operating company is based. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with local legal processes.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted here, and your continued use of the Service after changes implies acceptance.
